Inspired by Michael De Brito's exhibition The Moment and honoring National March Into Literacy Month. Join Museum staff & UMaine students to enjoy picture books about food and family, sample Portuguese sweet bread, view the exhibits and enjoy refreshments. Prior registration is not required. $1.00 donation per family member appreciated.

Join artist Philip Frey for this two day workshop on drawing the human figure from a model. For all skill levels. The workshop
will include gesture drawings as well as longer poses using various dry media.

DYNAMIC STILL LIFE PAINTING WORKSHOP WITH ARTIST PHILIP FREY
Friday, April 13 & Saturday April 14, 9 am - 4 pm

Professional artist Philip Frey will teach a two day workshop on dynamic still life painting in oil. Participants will work on several small, quick paintings focusing on the basic principles of design, color mixing and placement, drawing, composition and brush work. For all skill levels.
