Leonard Lecture Series
__________________________________________

The Edward D. Leonard III Lecture Series has been established by the family and friends of Edward (Ted) D. Leonard III in his memory. Ted and his wife, Sandra Blake Leonard, felt it was important that their beloved community have a vibrant museum and worked tirelessly to bring UMMA to downtown Bangor. The Leonard Lecture Series pays tribute to Ted’s legacy and provides the University community, citizens of Bangor and the state with opportunities to experience lectures presented by guest artists, curators and notable scholars of the visual arts.

These lectures will greatly enhance the Museum’s mission of presenting dynamic educational programming while also complementing UMMA’s diverse exhibitions.
